Aluminum foil bags made with 3 or 4 layers high resistance material, normally it will have one layer aluminum foil or metalized film in the middle of it to keep the products reach out of sunshine or direct light, this will keep products with longer shelf and have higher barrier properties.
If mylar bags are used with oxygen absorbers, please make sure to remove as much air as possible from them. These will not normally look like they have full vacuum packaging, as these absorbers only target oxygen. Other gases comprise 79% of the atmosphere, but do not impact long-term food storage. If you need vacuum-sealing, please use a professional vacuum sealer.
